CAGAA contracts with Levine Management Group, Inc. (LMG) to provide property management for GAV.

LMG is a full-service, third-party real estate management company specializing in both conventional and affordable apartment communities in Southern California.

LMG maintains documentation for audits, code enforcement and HUD compliance; performs annual recertification for subsidized properties; advises residents of rules, regulations and policies related to subsidized housing; responds to resident questions and concerns; coordinates property maintenance; and collects monthly rent.

Computer Classes

Seniors learning computer skills at a weekly computer class

The weekly computer class engages, trains and supports older adults in using internet-based information and technology to improve their social engagement and connectedness. Residents learn to keep in touch with family and friends on social media, play online games, watch TV online and more, so they can explore and enjoy the online world.

Exercise Group

Regular exercise provides a myriad of health benefits, including improvements in blood pressure and blood sugar management, reduced amounts of lipids in the blood, better bone and joint health, and long-term preservation of neuro-cognitive function. The weekly exercise class aims to improve residents’ physical functioning, promote health and prevent disease so that residents can enjoy life at GAV.

Karaoke

The weekly karaoke program gives seniors a fun, relaxing activity. Singing relieves stress, exercises the lungs and brings residents together.

Tai Chi Classes

Tai Chi is a slow, gentle, repetitive form of exercise that helps seniors extend their range of motion and move more easily in daily life. Practiced regularly, it can greatly improve balance, strength and overall physical condition.
